FAQs

Hopefully, the following FAQs give you the peace of mind that you need that you’ve picked the best local boiler fitters, but please don’t hesitate to call us if you have further enquiries.

How do I know if I need a new boiler?

A boiler has a life span of 10-15 years, but that doesn’t mean it won’t need servicing before then. Boilers are either condensing or non-condensing, and a non-condensing boiler is an older model. If you’ve had to have your boiler repaired more times than you can count, it’s time for replacement.

What types of boiler do you supply?

We can supply any boiler, but we prefer to work with Bosch models as you get the added security of a 10-year parts and labour guarantee. Why wouldn’t you want a boiler that was awarded Best Boiler 8 years running by Which Consumer group?

What can I expect after my new boiler is installed?

You’ll receive a building compliance certificate from Gas Safe in 10-14 working days. It should take one working day to install your new boiler. Will I have to pay for your parking while you’re here? No! Our prices are inclusive of our engineer’s parking at a pay and display.

Are you gas safety registered?

Yes, of course!

Do my regulators need to be updated when I put a new boiler in?

No, but we chemically power flush each central system after a new boiler is installed (click here to see our power flushing page).

How often should I service my new boiler?

To keep your warranty validated, we recommend an annual boiler service, and we can help you with this.

How much will a new boiler cost?

You can check out this link for our free boiler quote system.

How do your prices compare to British Gas?

Our boilers are more affordable than the ones on offer by British Gas, and you can check out the boiler quote system and see!

When do I pay you for my new boiler?

We won’t take payment from you until the job is complete. For jobs that cost over £5,000, we do take a 50% deposit up front to secure the job.

What payment methods do you accept?

Unfortunately, we can’t accept cheque payments. However, we can accept BACS or card payments.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes, safety is in your best interest, which is why we take it seriously.

What do I do if my boiler breaks?

Firstly, don’t panic! We are a 24-hour service, so you can give us a call and a friendly member of our team will talk you through what to do. If the boiler still isn’t working, we can book in a registered gas engineer for the nearest available appointment.
